Allegra Rose is a Los Angeles-based writer and actor originally from Philadelphia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Cinema & Media Studies and has been writing scripts ever since she could corral her cousins into performing holiday musicals in the living room.
Her work often blends grounded, character-driven storytelling with absurdist flair, satire, and layered social commentary—pushing boundaries of what film can be (and occasionally what it shouldn't be). She gravitates toward stories that are witty, offbeat, and deeply human. Her debut short film Angel’s Trumpets, which she co-wrote, premiered in May 2025 and is currently making its way through the indie festival circuit.
